Help With Sopcast

i downloaded it, i created an account, but when I try to log in, the log in screen says "Logging in..." on the bottom and it never changes. everytime i tried to start up sopcast this is what i get so i had given up on it altogether. i just tried again and figured maybe someone here could help me out. if anyone knows what i'm doing wrong, lmk. much appreciated

well after a few minutes of "Logging In" it goes to "Can not access Sopcast service"

try clicking on a direct link and let me know what it says
sop://202.190.75.149:3912/3608

also, just checking, but make sure you log in as anonymous

i have tried clicking direct links and logging in as anonymous before too. just tired again and got the same thing, can not access sopcast service

MrC, what version of Sopcast are you using? I'm using version 3.0. That seems to work.

If you are receiving the following error when trying to log into Sopcast 'Cannot access Sopcast Services'



Try uninstalling Sopcast and removing all trace of Sopcast from your PC. Then re-install the latest version.



Some people have reported that some Anti Virus programs detect Sopcast as a Trojan this is likely to be because Sopcast uses a Comms port that some AV software see as a Virus. This only occurs in the latest Version 1.1.2. Sopcast is not or does not have any viruses.

Funny,for me old version worked,then when got the recent one ,as soon as it opens i get and error and windows shuts it down.i cleaned my registry and repeated install process ,still no go,paid their forum a visit and noticed many others have same problem without anything between one and another in common.posted there asking for help,never got anything constructive and let it go.only one working for me these days fine is tvants.
